Already last year, the then-new British PM was in hot water for taking down the portrait of Margaret Thatcher (after public pressure reportedly rehung in another location) from her former study at No. 10 Downing Street after calling it “unsettling.” Then paintings of Queen Elizabeth I and Sir Walter Raleigh also got the heave-ho. Likewise William Shakespeare. And now, the full list of what’s been removed—and what’s replaced it—has become public.
