German Interior Minister Celebrates Attack on Free Speech ━ The European Conservative

German Interior Minister Alexander Dobrindt praised the scandalous “action day” operation and called for even stricter EU regulation following the conclusion of the major police raid on Wednesday, June 25th.

The minister celebrated the day of the blatant attack on free speech and encouraged people to report to the police more often if they see ‘hate speech’ on the internet.

The grand police raid was carried out on Wednesday, labeled “action day” which has taken place yearly in the past 8 years when police search houses and investigate people for criticizing German politicians.

Left-wing politicians gladly abusing Article 188 of the Criminal law, file hundreds of complaints for voters calling them “stupid” or “drunk” online. The people then face fines of thousands of euros and even potential jail time of up to three years.

Dobrindt applauded this day and called for even more raids since according to him these are “measures against radicalization and polarization.” The minister described these hateful comments of calling someone “dirty” and “idiot” are right-wing extremism.

We are “dealing with right-wing extremism to a considerable extent,” Dobrindt explained. Official statistics show two-thirds of reported complaints to be “right-wing extremist”—which, as we previously reported, only is accurate when the leftist defacing of an AfD poster with a swastika is defined as “right-wing extremism.”
